Why Documentary?

Because your audience likes learning.

Sketch working Arts.

In 2012, Sketch hired 3004 Studios to create several pieces that highlighted and celebrated their impact on the city of Toronto.  They were in the middle of their huge capital campaign, raising money to move into their brand new state of the art HQ at the ArtScape Youngplace building near Trinity Bellwoods park.

We worked with their team to pin point some participants who would be willing to tell us their story about what Sketch did for them in their struggle to stay off the streets.

The result was an incredible summer following Dynesti Williams, a singer and musician, as she navigated being an artist, being homeless, and participating in Sketch’s programs.

The result was a powerful short documentary that helped the team spread the powerful work that their organization had spent decades to establish as an essential service in the growing metropolis of Toronto.

Ontario Climate Consortium

When the Ontario Climate Consortium and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority needed to present to their partners and skateholders a broad impact report on climate change in the region of Peel, they came to 3004 Studios because they knew we could make complex issues into digestible pieces of content that would resonate.
